Arcadia Group managed to increase EBIT in the year to end FY2017 after a disastrous 2015 when EBIT dropped by about half. However, whether this is a case of creative account remains to be seen as revenue dropped by another £100m in 2017.

If the business is unable to grow revenue in any of its brands, perhaps it is time to break-up the group brands and focus on the jewel in the crown - Topshop / Topman?

This report follow on and adds to our June 2017 report of the group. As usual the creative finance department at Arcadia has changed the way it reports certain figures which may distort our analysis.
