#1 ROBOTICS NETWORKING EVENT
STIQ Ltd organised the first ever In-Person robotics networking event in London, UK on March 23rd via the TLA Robotics working group. This event was hosted by Shoosmiths in their very nice and central London offices, not more than 100metres from St. Pauls Cathedral.
About 70 of 100 registered attendees showed up on the night which was an excellent result considering various remaining Covid issues. Unfortunately this meant one of the presenting companies had to pull out (Q-bot).
Each company had 5minutes to present their business, products and/or services followed by a 3min Q&A session.
The 70-strong audience was a mixture of consultants, robot makers/vendors, students/lecturers, investors (early and later stage), media and the organisers
Multiple robotics segments were represented among attendees and presenters including surgical, warehouse & logistics, drones, inspection, service robots and F&B (Food & Beverage), Farm/Agriculture, etc.
We also managed to squeeze in physical robot displays from Robot Center, Ross Robotics and Inovo Robotics so people had something to touch and feel during networking breaks.
